Schalke will resume their Bundesliga matches this season against VfB Stittgart at home on January 21.
Schalke 04 open the chance to become champion of the German Bundesliga this season, with the points that do not vary much with the top standings while Bayern Munich.
Schalke only three points behind Bayern and the competition is still running long, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar optimistic deficit figure could be pursued.
"Of course we can be champions this season," said Huntelaar, some time ago.
"Obtaining our points with Borussia Dortmund and left only three points from Bayern. It shows we've been able to on a regular basis can achieve the expected numbers and if we can keep our performance like this, we have a chance," he said.
